In four dramatic acts, this film tells the story of a couple in their thirties who, in an act of kindness, offer shelter to a pair of abandoned children. Through the children, the destitute family gradually takes over their home, triggering a territorial war between the local couple and the invading family, until the couple is ultimately evicted.
